Full Name: James Courageux Deveruex
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Grade: 12th
Parentage: Luc and Felicity Deveruex (Anderson)
Siblings: None
Other Family Members: A younger, male cousin (16 yrs.)
Pet: None
Personality: James is an extremely outspoken soul, finding no fear or shame in saying what needs to be said. He's a strong believer in loyalty, chivalry, and heart, hence his showing of these qualities. However, his lack of trust for some people results in fewer "true" friends and strong dislike for others. His temper can be out of the ordinary, as it's quickly lost and hard to tame.
Appearance: James' main feature is his great strength. Built quite well, he finds quite a few admirers following him around. His head is topped off with easily-managed, raven hair. Equally dark eyes contain a deep quality about them; almost a mysterious one. His complexion is fair, as most of his... schemes... occur during the evening. James' height is rather extreme, stretching to about 6'2.
History: Growing up as an only child, James found himself spoiled and at times, over-protected. His father soon became a serious alcoholic, coming home only to find James' mother inquiring about his where-abouts. From the stairs, James witnessed a horrible abuse occur. One day he wouldn't stand for it, and he tried to hurt his father. Because of his young age, however, his father managed to smack him away and continue.
When his parents separated, James grew rarely seeing his mother, as she had to work two jobs to support the small family. He found a lot of independence in this, and led himself down a bad road. He started a gang, and his closest friends joined as his lieutenants. Having spent his second half of high-school strengthening it, it's actually a well-known group today.
School-wise, the eighteen year old always does just enough to pass. He never gets anything higher than a C, but it's from a lack of trying. If he actually did try, as he did once in his life, he would be doing exceptionally.

The hallways of the school were flooded with the thick odor of its components. The silence contained in the corridors immediately exploded with a loud hum of chatter and the random steps of a plethora of students. Teachers stood by their doors as instructed, their suspicious eyes scanning faces as they passed by.
James Devereux was one of these faces, stringing his small, knapsack backpack over his right shoulder. His orbs shot about the hallway as he pushed his way through waves of younger students. Heaving a frustrated sigh, he finally liberated himself from the main clutter of students and found freedom.
"James!"
That beautiful voice sounded so familiar. James glanced over his shoulder to confirm that it was the girl of his dreams. Scanning the figure approaching he smiled, turning completely around to entirely direct his attention. "Hey," He greeted her rather dully, that stupid grin still plastered to his softened expression.
"You're signing up for my new club, right?"
"Huh? Oh, sure," James gave in with ease, his grin fading to more of a casual smile.
"That's great! Well, I'll talk to you later. Bye!"
James sort of frowned when she turned on her heel and started off down the hall. Another exasperated sigh passed his full lips, before he turned and continued down the hall.
